Our purpose
Alpinism Peak Hub exists to explain the money behind the mountains. Every article should exist because it answers a real question, solves a problem, or adds research, a calculation, a comparison or an analysis worth reading on its own.
Our standards
People first: we write for readers, not for search engines or advertisers. Advertising, if present, never decides what we publish.
No invented material: we do not invent experience, tests, interviews, statistics, experts, testimonials or sources.
Clear labels: we distinguish facts, calculations, estimates, assumptions, opinions and conclusions.
Shown methods: when we estimate or calculate, we explain the method and assumptions.
Dated prices: prices and market data carry context and a date, because they change.
Sources: we link to reliable sources where they add value and cite the origin of the data we use.
Extra care: articles touching on finance, regulation or legal matters get additional review and carry a clear disclaimer.
Independence and commercial relationships
Editorial decisions are independent of advertisers and partners. If a page contains affiliate links or sponsored content, we will say so clearly.
